votehelper runs short online polls about everyday life, habits and day-to-day choices. You vote with one tap, with no sign-up, and straight away you see how everyone else answered.
Who we are
The site is run by a small independent team. We have no ties to political parties, government bodies or polling companies, and we don't run polls on commission.
Why we do it
It's often useful to know what other people do: which option is more convenient, what's worth buying, which service the people around you use. Pollsters rarely ask about this, and social media comments only show the loudest voices. Here anyone can answer in two seconds and compare their choice with everyone else's.
What this isn't
This isn't a scientific survey: the people who vote are the ones who chose to, not a representative sample. That's why, where we can, we show results from proper surveys on the same topic next to ours. More on the How we count votes page.
Principles
- No party-political questions and no questions about specific people — see the rules.
- Every poll has a “Hard to say” option.
- We don't store IP addresses — see privacy.
